PEAK... had so much fun playing it online w friends, we got so much out of it ! also renewing my FF14 sub because the same group of friends committed to getting through A Realm Reborn so now we log on to help fly them around the map to get the quests done faster (in return i have to learn how to play dota w them...)

I've heard lots of, uh, good things (bah dum tish) about The Good Place! I have lots of trouble with live action TV personally but it's definitely on my to watch list; glad you're enjoying it.

Frieren the manga is so good, I would highly recommend it!! Even if you've seen the anime, the pacing is still great. And my sister keeps trying to get me to watch Taskmaster, so maybe I should to...

I've been having a bit of success reading recently (ADHD means it's swings and roundabouts on concentrating), and have started wading into Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere books. At the end of the month, a book I've been waiting for all year comes out too - it's an expansion on the Amazon-commissioned short story "Six Deaths of the Saint" and I'm so excited for it. I'm going to cry so hard.

Oh yeah, I heard about that!! I'm a boomer so I never watched them when I was younger but I'm happy they're feeling okay about it, and I hope they have a long and happy life. As well as I hope the videos still hold up...!

i am currently enjoying the manga brittany hanayome ibun! the translation of the 5th volume was just published so I'm reading it at the moment. the author is just a big nerd about early french medieval history and it's so interesting to see a manga perspective on something i'm more familiar with from having visited some of the sites and learnt about it from a different angle.

To be totally honest you probably know most of it........ "the bats are back" is, unfortunately, 2025 for me, I am posting this live from the batcave. Also I sling mahjong tiles at people every week now so that's new. Uhh, other things, I just found out this week that an arcade near me got maimai recently and that's been super fun to get into :>

After a lifetime thinking mecha anime wasn't for me, I finally gave in and started watching Gundam. I still don't think much of mecha but I love melodrama.

Ah yeah, I'm not huge into mecha either, but I really liked Gundam: The Witch from Mercury! The melodrama is indeed peak.

Something I been into recently; Uh newer ill say Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. IMO its getting the "boruto" allegation but its legit from people who haven't read or touched it, just heard its a sequel series (thats 65 years past the og series??? so not at all like boruto LOL). But I really been interested in the new building lore, the characters (esp Cross and Yuka), and just seeing the new chapter each week to see what will happen from there hehe.

I recently finished reading Cinder House, a new novella from one of my favorite authors Freya Marske. It's a fun fantasy retelling of Cinderella where Ella is a ghost connected to the house she died in!
